Pathways World School, Gurgaon
With barely a month of online school, Pathwaysians have shown their mettle in academics, cultural events, orientation programmes, Round Square participation and MUNs. Despite the exceptional circumstances amid the coronavirus pandemic, they have outshined as growing individuals.
Slipping into the scenario of the online world, the students have participated in three MUNs since July. A team of five MYP5 students participated in the DXBMUN’20, organised by Indian High School, Dubai on 3rd and 4th July 2020. Another team of 11 students from MYP4 and MYP5, participated in WELMUN, organised by Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun on 18th & 19th July 2020. Along with this, Kaashvi Khurana of MYP4 was recognised with an “Honorary Mention” in DISEC.
On 13th & 14th August 2020, 7 students of MYP4 and MYP5 participated in SAIIMUN hosted by Sai International School, Bhubhaneshwar. Nandini Bhandari of MP4 bagged the Best Delegate Award, while Sarthak Jain and Muskan Oberoi of MYP5 received an “Honorary Mention’’.
Gaining confidence on this new platform, the students continuously aspire to get more laurels. Middle School looks forward to seeing greater participation in MUNs from the younger students of MYP2 and MYP3, so that they can explore debating on global problems and learning the 21st century skills of collaboration, decision making and diplomacy.
