EARLY YEARS: TODDLER PROGRAMME
The early years are not just preparation for school, they are the foundation for life. At Pathways World School, our Toddler Programme is thoughtfully designed to nurture confident, curious, and emotionally secure young learners during the most important stage of development.
Created for children aged 2–3 years, the programme blends the best practices of the IB philosophy, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and play-based learning, alongside globally recognised developmental frameworks, to create a warm, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to explore.
Play is at the heart of everything we do, helping children make sense of the world through joyful, hands-on experiences. Art, music, movement, and storytelling are thoughtfully woven into everyday learning, nurturing creativity, imagination, and self-expression from the earliest years.
A SMOOTH TRANSITION INTO THE IB PYP
Our Toddler Programme is intentionally aligned with the philosophy and practices of the IB PYP. Through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions, children begin developing the dispositions of inquirers, communicators and thinkers from their earliest years.
Learning experiences are carefully designed to support not only cognitive growth, but also emotional well-being, creativity, independence, and social development. This continuity creates a strong sense of familiarity and confidence as children transition seamlessly into the IB Primary Years Programme and continue their learning journey at Pathways.
