Ek-Pehchan August 13Pathways World School, Gurgaon
MYP & DP Drama students make us proud once again by winning the overall trophy at EK-PECHAN an inter school competition organized by Pathways School Gurgaon. The students presented monologues from the world of theatre in context to 21st century along with original slam poetries with a short film named TRAPPED.
Congratulations to the Students for their individual awards in the following events:
Yana Kundu, MYP 5, Suhani Suri, MYP 5 & Arnav Aggarwal, DP1 for bagging the first position in EK PEHCHAN – Linguistique Monologues organized by Pathways School Gurgaon. Yana potrayed the character of Lady Macbeth in English from Macbeth, Suhani presented Benare in Hindi from Silence!
The court is in session and Arnav showcased Shylock in Spanish from Merchant of Venice with reference to their identity in today’s world.
Yana Kundu, MYP5, Kripaa Talwar, DP1 & Arnav Aggarwal, DP1 for bagging the first position in EK PECHAN – Linguistique Slam Poetry organized by Pathways School Gurgaon. Yana recited “IK MUKA” in English & Punjabi, Kripaa recited “Kaun hu main” in English & Hindi and Arnav recited “Pink ho ya black” in English & Hindi.
Savya Bindal, DP1, Rohan Gupta, DP1 & Muskan Oberoi, DP1, for bagging the first position in EK PECHAN – Techdisrupt Film Making organized by Pathways School Gurgaon. The students were given a topic on the spot, and they had to make a 2-minute film in 1 hour. The students directed, scripted, and edited the film TRAPPED and enthralled the audience with their creativity.
Additional Info: 8 schools participated with over 50 participants and 300 audiences.
