• Birla School All India Debate Competition September 13

From Friday 3^rd September to Sunday 5^th September, four students from MYP and DP participated in the Birla School All India Debate Competition hosted by Birla Public School, Pilani.

Students had been practicing and preparing two weeks prior to the debate and attended workshops after school with Ms. Nivedita Rawat and Ms. Suravi Podder. There was intense competition, with twenty reputed schools participating from across the country.

The students were given the motions of debate just hours before the competition and prepared their arguments from morning till midnight. They showed incredible determination over the course of the competition.

The students, with their timely rebuttals and sheer confidence, have paved the way and set the bar high for PWS to actively participate and host future competitions.

List of Participants and Awards:

Shrey Sharma (Lead Speaker from DP 2): He was awarded the title of "Best Speaker" during the prelims twice.

Arnav Aggarwal (Second Speaker from DP 1): He was awarded the title of "Most Promising Speaker" during the prelims thrice.

Kaashvi Khurana (Third Speaker from MYP 5): She was awarded the title of "Best Speaker" during the prelims twice.

Shreya Sahai Bhatnagar (Reserve Speaker from MYP 5): She was our Reserve Speaker and helped with writing scripts.
