In the spring of 2023, a group of 22 students from Pathways World School had the opportunity to participate in a student exchange program in Madrid, Spain. The program was designed to offer students an immersive experience in Spanish culture and language while also providing them with the chance to study in Colegio Quercus in Madrid. During their time in Madrid, the Indian students were placed with local host families, which allowed them to experience daily life in Spain first-hand.

They attended classes at the school, where they were able to interact with local Spanish students and learn from professors who specialized in various subjects. In addition to their academic pursuits, they visited famous landmarks such as the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Prado Museum, and the stadium of the very famous football team Real Madrid. They also visited the city of Toledo, which is in the south of Spain as well as indulged in local cuisine like paella and churros.

The student exchange program provided an excellent opportunity for both the Indian and Spanish students to learn from one another and gain a deeper understanding of each other's cultures. It also helped to foster lasting connections and friendships between the two groups of students, even after the program had ended.

Overall, the student exchange program in Madrid, Spain was a resounding success, providing a transformative experience for the Indian students and allowing them to broaden their horizons and expand their perspectives on the world.
