Pathways World School, Gurgaon
With the aim of fostering collaboration between Japan and India, Pathways World School hosted an extraordinary group of Japanese students hailing from diverse regions of Japan, as part of their Indo-Japanese Collaborative CAS project. The enthusiastic cohort arrived on March 26th, eagerly anticipating the start of their enriching learning and sharing experience. The program was designed to provide the students with a comprehensive and diverse range of activities to engage in on campus.
From indulging in creative leaf imprinting projects, to partaking in physical endeavors such as volleyball and dance, and utilizing the music facilities, the daily itinerary was brimming with multifaceted opportunities. As part of the CAS initiative, the Japanese students and teachers visited a nearby village school that had been adopted by Pathways.
The Japanese students enthusiastically repainted the school premises and interacted with the locals, immersing themselves in the vibrant community. The students also had the opportunity to delve into the rich cultural traditions of the region. They learnt the art of Henna and dance moves over local Haryanvi rhythms, providing them with a truly exquisite cultural exposure. The Pathways students and Teacher in charges played an instrumental role in providing the Japanese cohort with a reliable and memorable experience.
The exchange program culminated in a series of four days packed with numerous on and off campus activities, including a mesmerizing star gazing session. On the last day of the program, the Japanese students dazzled their hosts with a stunning showcase of their newly acquired skills and knowledge, leaving an indelible mark on the Pathways community.
