The assortment of engagements that our campers took part in has encouraged the risk-takers to push their limits and be open to trying new ideas and respecting multiple perspectives during collaborative work. The camp experience has not only nurtured a sense of community living but helped them to acquire significant skills required for learning in a social context. The warmth, support, and care are much visible in their interactions with each other.

It is reassuring to witness the gratifying smiles and laughter that only grows stronger with each passing day.  The drizzle last evening made the hiking experience pleasant for the campers and the lush green spaces elevated the tranquillity on campus. Our aspiring filmmakers in Grades 7 to 10, finished shooting their films and are in the process of evaluating the outcome for improvisations. In the Theatre Workshop, they worked on voice modulations, and effective expressions and actively participated in memory enhancement exercises.

Our campers’ bags are already loaded with wonderful originations designed in the Design and Technology Studio. They are working on the birdhouse design and photo frames and are in the process of embellishing their fridge magnets. Persuasive techniques nurtured through debating sessions helped the participants to enhance their communication skills by making expressions more convincing and engaging for the listeners.

A much sought-after engagement of making Gateaux was enjoyed by all the participants. Their creations looked delicious and tempting!  The sun continues to shine bright, with spirits soaring high, and hope to have yet another exciting day at the Camp tomorrow.
