World Scholar’s Cup Regionals: 3 Day event full of challenges Pathways World School, Gurgaon
The students from Pathways World School, Aravali visited ‘Delhi Public School International’ on the 15th, 16th and 17th of April 2023 to participate in the World Scholar’s Cup Regionals.
This was a three-day event, where students indulged in exciting debates, writing competitions and many other challenges. On the first day, they were invited by the staff to a humorous and engaging opening ceremony, informing the scholars about the protocols of the event, and the Global Rounds.
After the students understood how the event flows through the opening ceremony, they were navigated to their respective rooms for debates, writing competitions and scholar’s challenges. The scholar’s challenge was a 120 set of questions based on the curriculum provided, which was done individually. Students were divided into two divisions: the Green and the Orange waves.
The next day, the students were all part of the Scholar’s Bowl, a quiz where teams had to put on their thinking caps and answer questions with their clickers. This event was followed by a debate showcase, where the top eight debaters discussed the motion provided. Afterwards, they were given alpacas, and after a scrumptious lunch, the Scholar’s Show took place, where the students could showcase their talents!
The students had a lot of fun cheering their friends for the Talent show which was followed by the Awards Ceremony. All our students received prestigious awards for their performance in the regionals. We wish all the qualifying students, All the Best for the Global Round.
