• Village Visit by Grade 2 Students Pathways World School, Gurgaon

On 6th September 2018, the Students of Grade 2 visited "Baas Village", Gairatpur, near School. The field trip was conducted in conjunction with the unit 'Communities'. Students were accompanied by Hindi Facilitators, Grade 2 Team and the PYP Attendant, Sunder Bhaiya.

This trip provided the students an opportunity to gain an understanding into the activities that are an integral part of the rural community. The students were welcomed by the farm owner who briefed them about the farm, cattle, fodder cutting machine, irrigation pattern, methods of harvesting.

Students were very curious to learn more about agricultural farming, and asked many questions to clarify their doubts. In the course of discussion with the farmers, the students also understood the problems faced by them during crop production period.

The students enjoyed the warm hospitality at Sunder Bhaiya's house, who was also our guide for this Trip.

The students came back enriched with the understanding of life in the rural community.
