10 Students and 2 Teachers from the Primary School went for a Student Exchange Programme, with Chadwick International School, in South Korea, from the 7th – 12th of May, 2018.
The Team was welcomed warmly by the Host School. Students had various interactions with the Students from Chadwick International School and attended regular classes with them. Students also visited various prominent areas in the cities, Incheon and Seoul, and learned about the culture of the vibrant country. They visited many landmarks in the host country, and soaked in the rich diversity of the culture.
The Students immersed themselves into the Korean Culture through activities such as interaction with the local people, trying Korean cuisine and making Kimbap- Korean Fan decoration; attempting Korean Script, K-Pop dancing and wearing the Korean Hanbok. These interactions helped the students get an insight into the culture of the country, and gave them reasons to appreciate and admire it. What better way to develop International Mindedness and pave the way towards becoming true Global Citizens!
It was a successful Student Exchange Programme, and the Students and Teachers will carry the memories of the experience with them for years to come.
