Pathways World School, Gurgaon
From 17th to the 23rd of April 2019, 11 Students from Grades 4 and 5 led by Mr. Simon Massey and Ms. Richa Chopra from the Primary School went to Chadwick International School, South Korea for a Student Exchange Programme.
The Team was welcomed warmly by the Host School. Students had various interactions with the Students from Chadwick International School and attended regular classes with them. Students also visited various prominent areas in the cities, Incheon and Seoul, and learned about the culture of this exuberant country.
They visited many landmarks in the host country and indulged in the rich diversity of their culture.
The Students immersed themselves into the Korean Culture through activities such as making Kimbap- Korean Fan decoration; attempting Korean Script, K-Pop dancing and wearing the Korean Hanbok.
These interactions helped the students get an insight into the culture of the country and gave them reasons to appreciate and admire it and what better way to develop International Mindedness and pave the way towards becoming true Global Citizens!
It was a successful Student Exchange Programme, and the Students and Teachers will carry the memories of the experience with them for years to come.
