• MYP 3 IDU Launch: Currents to Climate – Exploring Energy and Ecosystems April 1

On 1st April 2025, MYP 3 students kicked off their Interdisciplinary Unit (IDU) titled Currents to Climate—a collaborative exploration between Sciences and Individuals & Societies.

Centered around the driving question, “In what ways do our energy choices shape the future of ecosystems and biodiversity?”, the unit invites students to step into the role of researchers tackling energy sustainability in extreme biomes like the Arctic Tundra, Amazon Rainforest, and Sahara Desert.

Through hands-on innovation, they will design eco-friendly Survival Energy Kits, complete with functional circuits and solar/wind models, and document their journey via Expedition Reports and Survival Vlogs. This dynamic unit blends science, creativity, and environmental awareness, offering a powerful lens into real-world challenges and solutions.
