A Creative Journey into Poetry: The Words Workshop
The recent Words Workshop took students on a creative and reflective journey into the world of poetry, with a special focus on Haikus—an elegant and concise Japanese form.
Through engaging activities, students discovered how powerful emotions and vivid imagery can be captured in just three lines and 17 syllables. The workshop highlighted how simplicity in structure can evoke deep personal meaning, sparking inspiration and encouraging self-expression.
By the end, participants walked away with a newfound appreciation for the art of writing, understanding the true power of words to express thoughts, feelings, and ideas in meaningful ways.
