The Secondary School Student Council Investiture Ceremony was held on Saturday, 25th February 2023 — an event that was greatly awaited by all students, faculty members, and parents. It celebrated and amalgamated the new leaders who are going to carry the torch of the student body forward towards perseverance. Held in the school auditorium, the event inaugurated the student council for the academic year 2023-24.

To begin the ceremony, the council was commemorated with a ceremonial march, serving as an introduction to the new student council and setting the spotlight on the members. Afterward, the teachers in charge gave the elected and appointed students badges, marking the start of their tenure.

The presentation of badges to the newly elected council serves as a reminder of the responsibilities to be upheld as student body representatives. They were promptly followed by the student council oath; a promise to dedicate their time and skills towards the betterment of the school.

To conclude the inauguration, the Presidents (Yana Kundu and Dhruva Jindal, Grade 11) and Vice Presidents (Sanaa Suneja and Pratham Bansal, Grade 10) addressed the gathering. While doing so, they shared their vision for the next academic year, and how they planned on contributing to the school community and leaving a mark for years to come.

The ceremony was indeed one to remember and helps celebrate the trust and responsibility placed on the elected members.
