On 25^th February 2022, the RBK International Academy in Mumbai hosted the first-ever "Greenovation" competition. The competition identified 21st-century global issues and encouraged students to come up with creative ideas and solutions to tackle contemporary challenges. "Greenovation" comprised of three events: an innovation accelerator, a debate, and an elevator pitch. Shubham Jaydip of MYP4 and Vatsal Kabra of DP1, participated in the innovation accelerator and the debate respectively.

The innovation accelerator competition aimed to celebrate the age of “Social Entrepreneurship". Students needed to come up with a business idea that would be sustainable, have a positive social impact, and at the same time be profitable.

On behalf of his teammates, Shubham Jaydip presented his prototype for this event, called the CoviPanel. Developed in the design thinking class, the product aims to eliminate any communication barriers during mealtimes while still adhering to COVID protocols.

The debate competition was aimed at celebrating the creative arts and acknowledging the significant contribution of artists to the creation of knowledge. With this framework in mind, Vatsal Kabra was allotted two minutes to speak FOR the motion: "should music lyrics be a part of literature?"

The competition as a whole was a great platform to exchange ideas and learn from diverse approaches to thinking.
