On 20^th October 2020, Pathways World School hosted their first online International Climate Change Exchange. Students from schools around the world (from Mumbai to Columbia, Ukraine, Argentina and Portugal) came together to express their concern and solutions for the current climate change crisis that is faced all around the world. This event truly transcended the boundaries of a traditional classroom, encouraging the students to engage in some truly fascinating and empowering presentations.

The session started with a short introduction, moving on to the various schools sharing some enthralling presentations. These presentations included an introduction to their country, their school and the climate change that their country is currently battling and the measures that they, as the future of the youth, have taken up to prevent its adverse effects on their community. The presentations were as diverse as they were varied and included videos, skits and even a rap performance!

Next the students were put into smaller breakout rooms where they were able to have one on one discussions with one another and play a few icebreaking games and quizzes regarding climate change to enhance their understanding and apply it further. The discussion then moved on to solutions for the climate change crisis and the students brought up some truly innovative ideas.
