• Exploring the Blueprint of Life: DNA Science Workshop at Pathways April 3

On April 3rd, 2025, MYP 4 and DP 1 Biology students at Pathways World School Gurugram participated in an immersive DNA Science Workshop led by Mr. V.K. Singh, a distinguished expert in biotechnology and DNA fingerprinting. The workshop offered hands-on experience with key molecular biology techniques including DNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, and DNA fingerprinting—transforming theoretical knowledge into practical understanding.

Students worked with real lab equipment, extracted DNA, and observed banding patterns under expert guidance, gaining valuable insight into the applications of biotechnology in medicine, forensics, agriculture, and genetics. The workshop not only strengthened their scientific skills but also deepened their curiosity and appreciation for the power of science in solving real-world challenges.
