Mock Parliament Question Hour: A Civic Learning Experience for MYP Students

In a powerful demonstration of civic awareness and communication skills, the Middle School I&S Department partnered with PRS Legislative Research to host a Mock Parliament Question Hour for MYP 1 and MYP 2 students.

After an insightful online orientation on March 31, 2025, student-led ministries spent time preparing for the main event on April 4. With the PRS team acting as the Speaker and Mr. Ashwani Parmar evaluating the proceedings, students delivered impactful speeches and participated in dynamic debates, showcasing their understanding of democratic processes.

The event recognized the top three teams for their exceptional performances, highlighting critical thinking, public speaking, and a deep grasp of democratic principles. This intellectually stimulating experience not only encouraged engagement with the political process but also emphasized the power of debate, collaboration, and civic responsibility.
