Peace Day and Gandhi Jayanti celebration 2019 October 4

During the months of September and October, Pathways World School, Gurgaon celebrates the importance of peace and gratitude.

On Tuesday, 01 October 2019, Students of Primary School, gathered to mark two occasions – Peace Day and 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The assembly began with a mindfulness chant. The students watched an informative video on the life of Mahatma Gandhi and participated in a pop-up quiz based on Mahatma Gandhi’s life.

The students and teachers joined in a tranquil meditation led by Ms. Priya Vasudeva.

Students from Grades 4 and 5 shared information on Sustainable Development Goals and their importance focusing on the targets of Goal 16, that we need to achieve as a team.

Ms. Bhimwal shared her thoughts and as a team we took a pledge to become visionaries and missionaries of peace.
