On Tuesday, 28th August, Grade 8 Students attended the informative session - 'Academics in the Digital World' conducted by the Middle School Student Council Education and Literary Secretaries - Vedika Mandapati and Akrit Agarwal (Grade 10). The Session covered a variety of topics related to the digital world, such as online resources and assignment formatting.

The students were inquisitive and participated in discussions about academic honesty, digital assignment formatting and screen time-management. Akrit and Vedika also elaborated on different websites which would be helpful in our day-to-day academic learning. These skills are crucial in our learning journey, especially for faring well in the formative assessments or for homework assignments and will ensure that we focus on concepts which will have an enhanced effect on our presentation.

The Education and Literary Secretaries further continued by sharing their views with factual support on cyber-bullying and digital footprints. At the end, we all got an opportunity of a Q & A session which resolved all doubts. The importance of maintaining a positive presence online was stressed upon, with examples of real-world applications of digital footprint, such as university interviews and job applications.
