Creative Connections: Grade 9 Amazon Girls' Tapestry Workshop

Weekends at Pathways boarding are always a blend of creativity, collaboration, and connection. This past Saturday, the Grade 9 Amazon girls came together for a relaxing and rewarding tapestry activity, where creativity flowed just as freely as the conversations.

With a few students already skilled in the craft, the session became a peer-led learning experience, with everyone—whether guiding or learning—adding their unique touch. Using wooden frames as their base, students threaded and wove vibrant yarn to create their own designs, expressing their individuality through patterns and palettes.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, shared stories, and a sense of accomplishment, as every participant contributed to the process. This beautiful session was a perfect example of how boarding life at Pathways nurtures friendships and new skills, turning simple activities into meaningful bonding experiences beyond the classroom.
