• MYP Student Council Investiture Ceremony April 5

On 26^th March 2021, at 2:00 pm, the Middle School Student Council Investiture premiered live on the Pathways World School page of YouTube and Facebook. The event held the purpose of passing on the baton to the new Council and to honor their newfound positions as the representatives of Middle School.  

The Student Council 2020-21 left their knowledge and ideas to the new one in hope of making Middle School more enjoyable and a better place for the students. The ceremony started with Middle School Principal, Ms. Monika Bajaj addressing the audience commending the current Middle School Council for their wonderful tenure and wishing the best for the upcoming Council of 2021-22.

It was later followed by the revelation of the various positions of the students in order from House Captains, Secretaries, and finally the Presidents. The Council then took the oath to honor the sanctity of the School’s mission and was also congratulated by the School’s Director, Ms. Sonya Ghandy Mehta.

Following this, the School Presidents of the Academic year 2020-2021, Vatsal Kabra and Kripaa Talwar congratulated the proud upcoming Council members and shared experiences from their tenure as Presidents. Yana Kundu and Dhruva Jindal, Middle School Presidents 2021-2022, thanked their predecessors and promised to honor the expectation of their peers and the whole Middle School family.

In conclusion, the event provided an extra nudge to the newly established Council, preparing them for their forthcoming journey as student body leaders. The budding leaders have been badged with the role of being student ambassadors and have been awarded the opportunity of being the bridge between the School and its students. Middle School congratulates the freshly elected Middle School Student Council and hopes for them to carry their roles with sincerity.
