Inter-Centre Gymnastics ‘State’ Competition Pathways World School, Gurgaon
On Wednesday, 3rd of October 2018, 6 students of Pathways World School, Gurgaon headed to Panchkula, Haryana to participate in the Inter-Centre Gymnastics State Competition, in Panchkula.
The event began with the U-9 gymnasts performing on various apparatuses such as the Balancing Beam and the floor routines. Mahi Singh, a student of Grade 4 of PWS along with other girls at the stadium represented the Gurugram District and started with their performance. The Gurugram Team (U-9) won the Second position, and all of us were proud of our accomplishments.
The next day competitions comprised of the subsequent age categories: U-13, U-15, and U-17. The Competition was fierce, nonetheless, everyone put forth their best efforts. The last day of the Inter-Centre Gymnastics State Competition saw Rhythmic Gymnastics where Arya Garg (Grade 10) participated in the U-15 category.
It was another glorious moment for PWS, Aravali as she performed with tremendous balance and elegance which gave her the Second position in the Ball event as well as the Ribbon event.
Overall, the Competition comprised of Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics Aerobics. All our 6 Gymnasts left the Stadium with utmost synergy as their hard work paid off.
