SGFI Gymnastic Competition August 27

Pathways World School, Gurgaon

Gymnastics is a sport that requires balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination and endurance. On Monday, 20th August 2018 Prarthana Dayal, Arya Garg, Priya Kumari and Anoushka Goel of Pathways World School participated in the SGFI District Gymnastics Competition, held in Nehru Stadium, Gurgaon.

The students performed with four apparatuses: ball, ring, ribbon and clubs. The gymnasts were anxious to showcase their routines and performances. Even though the weather was a bit humid and caused exhaustion, it didn't deter the spirits and sportsmanship of the participants.

Our students came back after giving splendid performances. Priya Kumari of Grade 12 was selected for the SGFI States Championship and Arya Garg of Grade 10 was selected for the Inter-Centre State Level Championship, which will be held in October 2018.

Through this opportunity, the participants not only had the chance to learn a lot from the other participants but were also able to witness dynamic dancing routines and elements, which they could further incorporate into their own routines.
