The Primary School held its annual 'Walkathon' fundraiser on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, marking the start of our cherished 'Month of the Heart' tradition, coinciding with 'World Cancer Day,' advocating for "Healthy Heart for All." We paid tribute to Terry Fox, celebrating his enduring legacy through the Annual Terry Fox Run, a beacon of hope in cancer research since 1981. Students poured their hearts into completing walking laps, fundraising for meaningful social projects. In unity, we marched forward with purpose, fostering a vision of a healthier tomorrow.

As part of the 'Culture' unit, PYP 5 students enjoyed a special storytelling session featuring grandmothers of students Siya Shanker and Arjun. Mrs. Madan shared the folktale 'Chandan ka Ped,' highlighting friendship, while Mrs. Shanker narrated 'Shri Krishna aur Kaaliya Naag,' connecting to Janmashtami. The session enriched students' understanding of Indian culture and traditions.
