This year Pathways World School, Gurgaon is one of venue partners of the tournament and some of the matches in different age categories (Under-14 boys, Under-17 boys and girls) are going to be held on school ground.

It’s a league a cum knock out tournament and the teams from various Asian countries has taken part in the past. This year, teams from Bangladesh and Afghanistan are taking part in this tournament in Under-17 category.

This year, our Under-14 boys team also took part in this tournament, representing IBSO (Now International Schools Sports Organisation) on the basis of our last year’s performance. Last year, PWS team were the Runners Up in IBSO Under-14 Football Tournament at National level.

So, we got the chance to represent IBSO in Under-14 Subroto Cup 2019 Tournament. Total, we played two matches against Jharkhand and Reliance Foundation, Mumbai. Our boys played their best game but, couldn’t survive against the well-organized, well-balanced, technically sound and physically strong teams and lost both the matches, but it was a great learning experience for our boys.
