"Middle School is an adventure, not merely a school." - Anonymous

The move from Primary to Middle School is a huge milestone in a student's life. The Bridging Ceremony at Pathways World School ensures that this transition is a positive step forward in a pupil's journey of attaining knowledge, and the foundation for success throughout their schooling.

On Friday, 4th May, the Bridging Ceremony was conducted to welcome the students of Grade 5 and help make it a seamless transition for them from Primary to Middle School.

The Ceremony started with a Welcome Address by the School Executive Director, Dr. Sarvesh Naidu, followed by a few words by the Grade 6 Coordinator, Ms. Sabeena Menon. They explained to the students how change is inevitable and integral to the growth of every individual. They also spoke about the shift in buildings and class structures.

A melodious prayer song, 'Ae Mere Mann' sung by our very own Grade 6 students brightened up everyone's mood. Thereafter, a self-explanatory video featuring the Middle School teachers provided students with a glimpse of a day in Middle School. The video provided insight into the MYP assessments, IB curriculum and the overall Middle School life. Sanjoli Gupta and Darsh Chandran shared enthralling anecdotes about their experiences in Grade 6 and life post Primary School, which continued to hold the audience's attention.

Furthermore, the spellbinding play 'Hope for a Better India' directed by Ms. Rishika Namdev, managed to totally captivate the audience. This was followed by a phenomenal dance performance 'Udd Gaye' choreographed by the Grade 6 students themselves.

The Grade 5 Coordinator Ms. Renu Kaushal and Primary School Principal, Ms. Monica Bhimwal, expressed their firm belief in the students that they would continue to win hearts and accolades wherever they went. Middle School Principal, Mr. Sumit Dargan encouraged all the students to work towards their goals and achieve them.

The assembly ended with the students of Grade 5 interacting with the students of Grade 6. The event was a roaring success as all the Grade 5 students seemed wonderfully excited and completely at ease about joining Middle School in the new academic year.
