Madhubani Art Workshop for PYP students February 20Pathways World School, Gurgaon
Primary School organized a weeklong Madhubani Art workshop facilitated by the prominent Madhubani Artist, Shrimati Sheela Devi.
The workshop helped students recognize the contributions folk art and artists make to showcase their culture. The learners were engaged in transdisciplinary engagements such as literary, geographical, and mathematical integration to create artwork depicting stories through people, flora & fauna, deities, and festivals.
Students gained a perspective of art appreciation and made authentic observations of how we are connected as One Community, One Voice, and One World.
The experience ensured and affirmed that International-Mindedness is embedded in our student’s learning journey of becoming Global Citizens.
