Aspirations 2.0, a Middle School College and Career Advisory initiative was held on Friday, 22nd October 2021 for the Students and Parents of MYP 3 to DP2. Jayant Mansharamani, Jimyeong Park, and Tvisha Gulati moderated the panel discussion to help students and parents get a deeper insight into ‘New age careers’ Panellist comprised of Ms. Urmi Singh- Senior Director (Career Development Office), Ashoka University, Mr. Shaurya Cheema - Deputy Manager - Outreach, Ashoka University, Ms. Kala Anand - Director Career Service office, Krea University, Ms. Meenu Arora- Assistant Director - Outreach, Krea University, Ms. Trisha Bhattacharya - History and International Relations student, Ashoka University and Ms. Dimpy Nandwani – Alumni, Ashoka University

Each panelist discussed at length, the possible career paths, and the relevant subjects to attain the same. They discussed the need to research the new-age careers and identify the interests and potential of the students to select the carrier best suited for them.

The discussion also revolved around the importance of exploring different fields to understand the job market completely. The LIVE session was followed by the panelists responding to the questions posed by the moderators which were carefully collated via a survey. Aspirations 2.0 provided a great platform for parents and students to understand what the future holds for them and how to choose a career path best suited for them.
