Sunbeam Suncity Ideation Conclave

Sunbeam Suncity Ideation Conclave 2020 was held on the 20^th and 21^st of December. Over 270 participants from the top 23 schools were invited and 5 competitions were conducted over two consecutive days. Pathwaysians were active participants in all of these competitions. 

12 students from Middle School, accompanied by Ms. Shweta Upadhyay, took part in various inter-school quizzes, debates, radio-plays, visual art installations and creative writing competitions. Students from MYP 1 to MYP 4 were given the opportunity to put their best foot forward in this event.

During all these competitions, each student showed immense confidence and eagerness. A student of MYP 3, Tvisha Gulati, even qualified as the ‘Best Extempore Debate Speaker’ on behalf of Pathways. The event was curated by Mr. Parnab Mukherjee, a renowned knowledge resource curator. Along with this, Ms. Roopa Pai, author of bestseller Mahabharata for Children and numerous other books for children, and Mr. Dhruv Raj Sharma, CEO, Logophilia Education Pvt. Ltd., conveyed their best wishes to the participants of Sunbeam Suncity Ideation Conclave 2020.

Additionally, during the opening ceremony, the dance performances by the host school were shown on the virtual platform making the event even more enjoyable. This was followed by the Quiz, Turncoat & Extempore Debates, Radio-Play, Creative Writing Text Response and the Visual Art Installation.

On the second day of the conclave, the semi-finals and finals of the debate were conducted. Towards the end, a closing ceremony was held where the results for all the competitions were announced. The Alumni of Sunbeam Suncity also addressed the gathering and congratulated participants. 

However, all good things must also come to an end. All in all, this Round Square allowed all students to be involved in various competitions which expanded their knowledge on many global as well as local issues and topics. This event will certainly be a memorable experience for all the attendees.
