• Independence Day Celebrations August 19

The morning of 15th August 2020 was filled with pride and gratitude towards our brave freedom fighters who brought Independence to India in 1947. The National Flag was hoisted by the School Director, Ms. Mehta, in the Amphitheatre, along with the other senior faculty members and in the presence of the on-campus staff and support staff.

The students and faculty of Middle school celebrated the Independence Day with great enthusiasm and gusto. Students met in their form groups in a traditional ‘virtual’ assembly.  They carried out a variety of activities to celebrate the National Festival. They discussed the significance of the Tricolour, sang patriotic songs on the guitar, and sang the National Anthem in sign language. It was a unique and a wonderful experience for them. 

The students of Grade 6 created a Padlet wall while reflecting on what freedom means to them in the current times.

Primary School also had a virtual assembly during which the students displayed enthusiasm as they expressed their patriotic fervour through poetry and illustrating their interpretation of the meaning of freedom. Informational videos added to the understanding of the long-drawn freedom struggle.
