Graduation day is an event that every student looks forward to. Along with the culmination of a student’s school life; it is a ceremony in which diploma certificates and various other accolades are conferred to the graduating batch.
The graduation ceremony for the batch of 2023 was held on 3rd March in the school amphitheater. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the honorable guests, founder directors Mr. Prabhat Jain and Mr. Prashant Jain along with the members from the management, Mr. Pranay Jain & Ms. Pratiti Jain. With grand music playing in the background, the graduates walked down the aisles with their heads held high, crowned with graduation caps towards the stage.
Eventually, the teachers who mentored the students joined the DP 2 students on stage for a collective photograph. The mass array of awards and performances by grade 11 students to honor their seniors commenced. First, was a semi-classical piece choreographed by the HOD (Dance), Mr. Norbu Tshering. The dance signified the gratitude of students towards their parents and teachers. The ceremony was gracefully put together by various musical performances by different DP 1 students.
After the first set of performances and special awards, Senior School Principal, Ms. Manjula Shenoi, School Director, Ms. Sonya Ghandy Mehta and DP coordinator, Ms. Mona Sharma presented the Valedictorian and Salutatorian awards, which were awarded to those students who achieve academic excellence and played a significant impact on the school community. These awards were given to Vatsal Kabra and Vidhi Channa respectively. The celebrations continued as the faculty members and founder directors handed out diploma certificates and special awards to those who made remarkable efforts in different facets of school life.
The closing stages of the ceremony saw the Clicking Club present a short montage that helped the entire batch reminisce over their journey. Towards the end of the ceremony, the Senior School Principal shared her astute thoughts with the graduating batch and the parents. The event concluded as the soon-to-be graduates returned on stage with candles handed over by the teachers to mark the wisdom shared among the learning and teaching community.
The graduates further shifted their tassels from right to left to commemorate their graduation. The event concluded with dazzling fireworks and the harmonious singing of the national anthem with everyone present.
