On the morning of our journey, I had made a personal vow not to indulge in any breakfast items to ensure I had enough room in my stomach for the eagerly anticipated Barbecue Times outing. Our bus ride to the destination was filled with lively chatter, singing, and music, creating an atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for a day of enjoyment.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, characterized by rustic decor and the delightful scent of grilled food wafting through the air.

After a prolonged period of anticipation, my friends and I were elated to see the waitstaff serving us an array of refreshing mocktails. This was followed by the main attraction: skewers of marinated meats and vegetables sizzling on live grills, placed right at the center of each table. The anticipation reached its peak as the skewers grilled to perfection, and our table couldn't resist digging in quickly.

The dessert section was a paradise of sweet delights, offering cakes, pastries, and other indulgent treats to satisfy every sweet tooth. Students couldn't resist sampling a bit of everything, with rolled ice cream being a favorite for all.

As the day came to an end, everyone's plates were empty, and our hearts were content. The barbecue outing proved to be a refreshing and joy-filled experience, strengthening the bonds among the boarders and leaving us with cherished memories of the day. Upon returning to the dorms, we retreated to our respective rooms and entered a state of blissful hibernation, momentarily forgetting about the existence of the school dinner.
