The boarders and Resident Parents of Mekong went on an excursion to the orphanage PCI in the Bango village to help spread smiles and share laughs. They were welcomed by a melodious band organized by the children. In the ice-breaking session, the students got comfortable with one another. It is said that “food brings people together”, so they all enjoyed the prepared meal.
Next up, was a round of sports which according to the students was the best part of the day. Upon gathering again, they distributed the stationery, shoes & clothes that they had brought along. Seeing their gratitude, made students realize that their effort would be appreciated no matter what.
The children had also prepared a dance performance with which they bid their goodbyes. Sad to see them go, they made their promises to visit yet again.
