Aspirations 2.0, third in the series of Panel discussions organized by the Middle School Careers and College Advisory Department, was held on Tuesday, 8th February 2022 for the Students and Parents of MYP 3 to DP2. Ahana Verma, Dhriti Pasrija, Ishika Jain, and Rubaab Bhatia of MYP4 moderated the panel discussion to help students and parents get a deeper insight into ‘New age careers’ around the Science domain. 

Discussions focussed on opportunities in Law, Architecture, Design, and Hospitality. Panelists comprised of Ms. Bulbul Chaudhary, Atlas Skill -Tech University, Mr. Sarosh Daruwalla, Les Roches Global Hospitality Education, Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland and Ecole Ducasse and Mr. Abhishekh R Ganesh, O P Jindal Global University.

Each panelist discussed at length the possible career paths and the relevant subjects to attain the same. Additionally, the panelists also discussed the universities they represented, and the different opportunities offered. As career paths are ever-evolving the speakers also discussed the various skills one must have to do well in the industry.

The speakers also talked about the summer programs and internships one should take up in their field of interest to boost their resume. Moreover, they also offered insight into the growth and employability which is expected in times to come in the future in different fields. The panelists also shed light upon resumes and the different scholarships available while discussing the basic parameters looked into while granting such scholarships.

The session was indeed insightful and fruitful to the students of middle school as they begin to explore their future and the career paths which interest them. The session was followed by the Panelists responding to the questions posed by the moderators and the audiences attending the meeting
