U-14 IBSO Basketball Tournament November 19Pathways World School, Gurgaon
Basketball is a game of skill, strength and strategy. Teams work together with great effort and determination to achieve the highest level. From 16th November to 18th November 2018, nine teams of boys and girls each from various schools including Pathways World School, Aravali participated in the first U-14 IBSO tournament for Basketball.
It was a great honour for our school as the Tournament was hosted and organized in our school.
On the first day, the air was full of excitement and teams presented healthy rivalry and determination. On the second day, the participants were tensed as losing meant getting knocked-out. Regardless of what teams had immense competition which kept everyone at the edge of their seats.
As the matches continued teams had reached the semi-finals and everyone was ready to play at the best of their abilities. After the tremendous performance in the semi-final’s teams were completely exhausted.
On the third day, the finals were on the way. The girl’s finals were between The Heritage School, Gurugram and The Sri Ram School, Moulsari. The boy’s finals were between The Heritage School, Gurugram and The Sanskar Valley School, Moulsari. There was tough competition between players, there was great intensity in the boy’s finals and it was spectacular to watch.
The participants said it was an absolute moment of pleasure for them to participate in the tournament.
