On February 19, 2025, Middle School celebrated the Month of Heart with a spirited Jogathon and Inter-House event, blending fitness with philanthropy. Organized by the Wellbeing and PE teams, the event saw students and teachers jog and cycle together in a display of unity and enthusiasm. Faculty contributions supported a meaningful cause, making the day not just about health, but also about heart. The event fostered community spirit, highlighted the importance of well-being, and left everyone feeling energized and inspired.

On February 14, a group of passionate MYP 1 students—Arshiya Aggarwal, Aradhya Agarwal, Aarohi Goel, Nayma Bansal, Izaariya Khan, Aaradhya Gupta, and Rabzes Wangmo—led a heartfelt self-expression workshop for young learners at Gyan Shakti School. Using terracotta clay as their medium, the children molded their ideas into expressive art, developing confidence, fine motor skills, and emotional awareness. The activity fostered joy, creativity, and connection, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.

MYP 1 to MYP 3 students delved into the world of technology during the workshop “Artificial Intelligence 101: Ethics, Safety, and Innovation.” The session offered an engaging introduction to using AI as a learning and creativity tool, emphasizing the importance of prompt writing, responsible usage, and ethical awareness. Through interactive activities and discussions, learners developed critical thinking and digital literacy skills, discovering how AI can empower their educational journeys while upholding integrity.

On February 4, 2025, MYP 1 students at Pathways World School engaged in a powerful cross-disciplinary GRASPS Task led by the Individuals & Societies and Visual Arts teams. Channeling their research on social inequalities, gender discrimination, and disabilities, students created persuasive awareness posters that combined artistic expression with meaningful advocacy. Through tools like the emotions wheel and strategic color palettes, learners crafted visuals that not only informed but stirred emotion, showcasing how creativity and critical thinking can drive social impact.

On February 5, 2025, five enthusiastic MYP 2 students from Pathways World School took part in a Round Square Zoom Postcard hosted by RBIS International School, Thailand. Themed “How Hobbies and Passions Shape Who We Are,” the session welcomed nearly 130 global participants. Students shared personal hobbies through engaging slides, participated in an interactive Kahoot quiz, and reflected on a guest speaker’s insights into how passions can drive personal growth and even shape careers. The event encouraged learners to view hobbies not just as leisure, but as meaningful pathways to self-discovery and future success.

On February 1, 2025, ten MYP 3 students from Pathways World School joined 50 participants at the ‘Virtual Round Square Symposium on Global Mountaineering,’ hosted by Cadet College Hasnabdal. Renowned mountaineers shared awe-inspiring stories of resilience, teamwork, and respect for nature. The symposium encouraged students to step beyond their comfort zones, cultivating confidence, discipline, and a deeper appreciation for environmental responsibility and adventure.

Students explored the theme of empathy in an engaging English session aligned with Wonder, participating in activities designed to help them understand diverse perspectives. Through a moving social experiment video and personal reflections, students developed a deeper appreciation for listening, respect, and emotional intelligence. The session will culminate in a role-play exercise that encourages them to apply their learning in meaningful, real-world ways.

The final session of the Aspirations Series at Pathways World School wrapped up with an engaging and thought-provoking discussion on the dynamic world of Business & Economics. Featuring expert insights from Professor Kunal Mankodi, Ms. Prachi Hajela, Ms. Raheela Shaikh, and Ms. Tabita Chettri, the session explored future-ready skills, interdisciplinary learning, and the value of global perspectives. Students left the session informed, inspired, and better prepared to shape their academic and career journeys.

Last week, Pathways World School students united for “Voices Against Bullying,” a week-long initiative promoting empathy, awareness, and student empowerment. From the impactful Silent Shout Poster Campaign to heartfelt stories at the Open Mic for Empathy, each activity encouraged reflection and solidarity. Wear Purple Day saw the school community dressed in purple and engaging in a meaningful online quiz. Students also pledged their support through the Commitment Canvas and concluded the week with thoughtful “Voice Your Values” podcasts. The campaign served as a powerful reminder of the importance of kindness, courage, and community.

Driven by creativity and compassion, Vanya Chadha and Samaira Malhotra launched Crocheted Crafts, a heartfelt initiative combining artistry with purpose. Their handmade crocheted roses, resin art, and custom sticker packs quickly became a hit—raising funds to support the National Association for the Blind (NAB), Uttarakhand. This organization is dedicated to empowering visually impaired children through education and essential resources. Their initiative is a beautiful example of how student-led action can make a lasting impact. We celebrate their dedication and thank the school community for supporting this meaningful cause.
