Student Council Elections - 2019-20 Pathways World School, Gurgaon

The Primary School geared up for a true celebration of Student Agency by taking part in the Student Council Elections held on 29th August 2019. The feeling of democracy filled the air, when the students gathered in the AV room, to elect the new Student Council Members for the year 2019-20.

It was heartening to see the students deliver their nomination speech to convince their juniors and peers to vote for them. The counting of votes was timely, and students waited eagerly to know the results, which were announced by the Primary School Principal, Ms. Monica Bhimwal. The students were delighted to meet the final Student Council Body and wished them the best for their new role.

Folktales by Grandparents

As part of the 'Culture' unit, PYP 5 students enjoyed a special storytelling session featuring grandmothers of students Siya Shanker and Arjun. Mrs. Madan shared the folktale 'Chandan ka Ped,' highlighting friendship, while Mrs. Shanker narrated 'Shri Krishna aur Kaaliya Naag,' connecting to Janmashtami. The session enriched students' understanding of Indian culture and traditions.

PYP Investiture Ceremony
