Button Stitching & Ironing Classes February 4Pathways World School, Gurgaon
Button Stitching activity was conducted by the Primary teachers on the 4th of February with boarders of the Nile and Indus. These students were introduced to the techniques and skills needed to sew buttons and then collaboratively worked and helped each other to successfully embroider them which can be used in their daily life as well.
Similary, the students of Mekong learned a very important skill that will help them throughout their lives: stitching and Ironing. All the boys were very diligent, and at the same time, enjoyed learning this life skill. This was an educational experience for all who were involved in it.

As part of the 'Culture' unit, PYP 5 students enjoyed a special storytelling session featuring grandmothers of students Siya Shanker and Arjun. Mrs. Madan shared the folktale 'Chandan ka Ped,' highlighting friendship, while Mrs. Shanker narrated 'Shri Krishna aur Kaaliya Naag,' connecting to Janmashtami. The session enriched students' understanding of Indian culture and traditions.
