Overnight school trips, annual camps, MUN’s and basketball tournaments during school days exposed me to living outside my comfort zone and were also instrumental in helping me adjust to life after school. Pathways helped me develop into a well-rounded personality and excel both, academically and as an individual. At school I was encouraged to partake in extra-curricular activities because of which I went on to obtain my 2nd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and am currently a mentor at my University’s Taekwondo Club. My teachers, especially Ms. Manjula Shenoi, Ms. Neena Virmani, Ms. Sujata Raina and Mr. Sri Ram, contributed towards helping me make the right choice of subjects, and without whom I would not have been the person that I am today.

My journey at PWS started as a Boarder in 2019. Moving from Kenya to India and leaving my family behind was one of the most challenging and daunting experiences for me, and a tough transition too. Adapting to changes to settle in, make new friends, and interact with new people never seemed easier, especially because of the diversity that my class had to offer. As time passed, and the homesickness kicked away, Pathways evolved as a nurturing home; a safe and happy place for me.

Apart from focusing on academics, studying at Pathways allowed me to engage in various extracurricular activities such as horse riding and community service, leading me to find my interests outside of academics. It is because of this balance between studies and extracurricular activities, that I learnt the art of good time management. My experiences as a Boarder at PWS were one of the best that I have had. Life in Boarding helped me build strong bonds with people, including my teachers, who gradually became companions, forming a part of my memories that I will always cherish. My fondest memories in school are of my horse riding lessons and the night hikes in the Aravali hills. Overall, Pathways has played a pivotal role in helping me discover myself in ways that are difficult to articulate.
